The Heart Gallery of Tampa’s mission is to raise awareness of Tampa’s waiting foster children, engage the community in their welfare and secure permanent, loving adoptive families. This year, The Heart Gallery collected patrons, philanthropists, professionals and socialites from across Florida to unite at the 2018 Be Mine Gala in support of their worthy cause. Jam-packed with moving presentations and grooving entertainment, this night pulled at the heartstrings of all in attendance while creating an educational platform that inspired. The Grease-themed event engaged attendees with excitable characters, carnival games, and entertainment on February 8, 2018.
Convergence Consulting Group (CCG) was amongst the sponsors and attendees for The Heart Gallery Be Mine Gala. In addition to the sponsorship, members of CCG donated over $500 personally for The Heart Gallery’s birthday party initiative. CCG’s honorary foster child’s name is Milad, and the funds from the fundraiser go towards celebrating Milad’s birthday and supporting him for six months in the program. Milad is just one of many children searching for families through the Heart Gallery. Through their website, professional photographers illustrate the joyful characteristics of these children to put in front of hopeful adoptive families, giving the children a higher chance of being adopted. “Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay is a young 501c3 who is fighting to protect our youngest survivors of neglect, local foster children who have no one else to protect them. It has been such an incredible honor to have all of CCG stand behind me in this fight to support these children. We are proud to be an early supporter of this worthy cause and hope to encourage others to join us in helping this organization flourish". Caroline Wright, Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay Be Mine 2018 Co-Chair and CCG Head of Marketing had to say about the recent event.
The Be Mine Gala encouraged attendees to support children who are waiting for a forever home. During the event, adoption leaders shared stories of children in need of assistance due to factors of race, age, or special needs. Live and silent auction, donations, and ticket sales for this event raised over $230,000 for local foster children. This event and the initiatives of The Heart Gallery of Tampa not only ensured aid for children in high need but drew attention to a cause that should not be forgotten. CCG is proud to have shared in a small part of the Heart Gallery’s success.
