CCG Places in Florida Trend Best Companies to Work

Aug 01, 2017

Convergence Consulting Group (CCG) has once again been identified as one of Florida’s Best Employers, being named as Florida Trend’s Number 20 Best Medium Sized Company to Work For in the state. This is the fifth-time CCG has won Florida Trend’s Best Company to Work For, previously being named in the Small Company category and growing to the Medium Sized Company category in 2017. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, CCG has offices throughout the state and supports customers nationally in their data and analytic initiatives.

In 2017, CCG launched two new employee training programs that contributed to the continued success of CCG and its employees, Consulting Bootcamp and Squad Specialization. The Consultant Bootcamp is an opportunity for recent college graduates or professionals new to business intelligence to train alongside expert consultants on all facets of data and analytics, gaining hands on experience with the latest technologies and preparing for real world consulting experience while employed full-time. The development of Squad Specializations is an internal movement that allows consultants the opportunity to cross train on new technologies and sharpen their skills in a particular industry or line of business solution. These programs are just two ways in which CCG is continuing to invest in its employees and rise to higher standards as a top employer.

The prerequisites for Florida’s Best Companies to Work For award was survey based and focused on employee feedback in areas such as company policies, practices, and demographics. The second portion of the award was sent to a selected group of employees which had a focus on leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, role satisfaction, work environment, relationship with supervisor, training, development and resources, pay and benefits, and overall engagement. The medium sized category serves for companies with 50 to 249 employees and is a new category for CCG to place.
