Senior Account Manager (Florida)

Summary

CCG Senior Account Managers collaborate with our Solution Engineers and Practice Directors to execute upon account expansion strategies, with the end goal of getting our best and brightest in the room with clients to present our industry leading solutions and services.

The ideal candidate loves talking with people and evangelizing transformational technology that can optimize the way that our clients leverage their data. They will drive enterprise program management within key accounts with a focus on the acceleration of cloud adoption and data platform modernization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute account growth plans for assigned customers within your territory or industry vertical.
  • Partner with the customer, CCG’s solution engineering team and CCG’s services delivery team to build and execute upon a custom strategic roadmap.
  • Leverage and create VP and C-Level buyer relationships for strategic selling.
  • Conduct industry and customer research to position solutions in the context of a customer’s business objectives.
  • Grow revenue in newly acquired customers by expanding our offerings in collaboration with Delivery Leadership.
  • Remain in tune with the ever-changing cloud and data analytics technology landscape, specifically within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Exhibit operational excellence - including monthly/quarterly forecasting, building healthy pipeline, CRM entry and hygiene, opportunity management and virtual team orchestration.
  • Leverage personal experience, industry relationships, market research and internal SMEs to serve as a trusted advisor to client in their industry.
  • Schedule, orchestrate and lead client interactions (meetings, workshops) throughout the sales process.

Professional Qualifications

  • Experienced. 5+ years of successful delivery of customer-facing, complex technical programs in cloud or Data/AI focused professional services organization required. Business development experience in the Microsoft partner ecosystem is preferred.
  • Excellent Communicator. Clear communication, with a strength in taking a complex piece of analysis and translating that into a story that compels action, is a must.
  • Performer. Highly driven person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations and has the ability, characteristics, and determination to compete effectively against competition.
  • Collaborative.  Proven experience collaborating directly with client stakeholders spanning IT and Business. Work cohesively with members of the Sales, Marketing and Services Delivery organizations to provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • Growth Mindset. A continuous learner willing to stay ahead of technology trends and consistently hone their sales techniques.

Sales Qualifications

  • Amazing Salesperson.  Proven track record of building relationships with senior customer executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various customer and internal stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/engagements required. A knack for identifying and winning over gatekeepers.
  • Detail Oriented. Places high value on operational excellence and data quality in CRM, ideally Salesforce.com.
  • Outcome Focused. Obsessed with creating business value for clients and able to build a business case with clearly identified ROI.
  • Knowledgeable. Exhibits a solid understanding of Cloud and Data/AI capabilities, and has the ability to advise customers in their decision making.
  • Technique. Foundational knowledge and/or experience with complex sales training (e.g., Miller Hyman, Spin, Michael Bosworth, Holden, Sandler, Pragmatic etc.) and sales methodologies.
  • Competitor. Enjoys competing and doesn’t shy away from challenges.
  • Influential. Experience delivering persuasive presentations to business decision makers.
