Marketing Director

Location: Tampa, FL

As a Director of Marketing with CCG, you will have the opportunity to work closely with fellow CCGers to understand our client’s analytic needs and use the latest technologies to develop innovative solutions that enable the analytic capabilities that drive their business decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the people and programs responsible for generating market awareness and demand by overseeing the development, execution and measurement of all marketing activities (direct marketing campaigns, events, webinars, trade shows, sponsorships, advertising, SEO/SEM, company website traffic, social channels, branding and communications/public relations)
  • Position the company as a leader in the industry through concise messaging and positioning, distilled across all areas of the organization and ensuring consistency throughout all company communications and materials
  • Oversee partner and strategic alliances marketing programs
  • Develop lead nurturing programs to improve the buyer’s experience at every stage of the sales funnel
  • Develop and maintain analytics that report on marketing KPIs
  • Drive Marketing ROI and acquisition metrics to optimize program performance and effectiveness
  • Interact with all internal teams to ensure consistency of message, direction and programs

Preferred Technical Skills

  • 7+ years related marketing experience, preferably in software marketing, cloud, IT or related technologies
  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Proven track record of leading marketing teams and managing marketing systems
  • Experience managing the creation and execution of effective direct marketing programs
  • Experience managing the creation of marketing programs and/or materials that promote technology solutions to end users
  • Expertise in marketing and data quality best practices
  • Expert knowledge of sales process and marketing to sales hand-offs
  • Strong experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce.com and/or Marketo preferred) and marketing automation systems
  • Background and knowledge of the Retail and/or Education industry a big plus
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills & ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with well under pressure and with tight deadlines in a high growth, fast-paced environment
