This role oversees strategic partnerships with a focus on sales pipeline and bookings growth with existing and new partner relationships. The Manager of Strategic Partnerships, who reports to the Chief Revenue Officer, is responsible for operations, demand generation and revenue from partnership channels. All partner-based routes to market are in scope, including Systems Integrators, Industry Leaders and Technology Partners.

You will work cross-functionally and collaborate with the sales, marketing, services, and training/enablement teams to build a fully integrated partner ecosystem. This role is a high impact role and plays an integral part in the success of the overall field team and company. Key responsibilities include:


  • Oversee the strategic partnership function
  • Partner with the CRO to define a channel strategy that aligns to our corporate go-to-market (GTM) strategy across the portfolio of partners
  • Define and execute on operating plan
  • Develop business plans with each Tier 1 partner and review quarterly to ensure performance
  • Support the creation and execution of geographic expansion programs within Tier 1 partners
  • Identify partners that add value to current and prospective customers
  • Create and drive partner programs, including program definition and partner resources
  • Work cross-functionally to develop partner marketing programs, enhanced partner portal, partner product certifications and training, collateral, etc.
  • Create partner content and facilitate partner workshops to create leads
  • Create partner sales plays working with the service practices, marketing and sales
  • Create predictable demand by marketing CCG to partners
  • Own the partner lead through SQL and hand-off to sales
  • Create relationships at every level of the partner organization – sales reps to partner reps to executives
  • Enhance the CCG brand across the partner ecosystem through nurture emails and engagement
  • Attend all partner conferences and understand the products, sales plays and partner programs
  • Support sales enablement and educate sales on products, sales plays and partner programs
  • Drive performance management of partners through periodic reviews and reporting
  • Create processes and update workflows for partners
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to team
  • Complete research on possible new partnerships in the marketplace
  • Work with the sales engineer to get ahead of the curve on new products and create new workshops with partners

Operational Requirements

  • Administer systems and write reports as needed to provide accurate lead forecasting
  • Manage the partnership budget and report on discrepancies monthly
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs with practices and delivery
  • Oversee incentive programs for all partners and manage the partnership coordinator role
  • Manage all systems in the partner environment (CRM systems, invoice systems, yearly planning, incentive reporting, etc.)


  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Data and Analytics space
  • Minimum of basic Microsoft product knowledge
  • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience selling technology services
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business process improvement
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with partnership/alliance management
  • Experience working within a high growth, entrepreneurial environment
